Starting at least 1904, as a teenager, Warschavchik could have been severely injured / killed during one of the multiple Jewish Pogroms, happened in Odessa numerous times from the first years of the XXth century and until pretty much mid 1920s. At least half a million Jews died from pogroms
As of 1917 Warschawchik could have been killed by one of Petlyura or Bandera military groups attacks - they were specifically targeting Jews - hundreds of thousands of Jews died as a result of those attacks
In 1930s Warschavchik might have ended up starving to death - at that time Ukraine was devastated by repetitive waves of catastrophically severe famine - around 5 million people fell its victims
Starting late 1920s (and for the next 25 years), being from a Jewish family and a trained architect, Warschavchik should have attracted certain interest of OGPU, later NKVD - Stalin's secret police - that could have arrested him with no doubt - depending on a temporarily trend - as a Japanese spy, a German agent, an Italian counter investigator, to name but a few options. With its numerous peaks in 1937-38, then late 1940s and early 1950s, Warschavchik could have been taken just as a result of a call of a neighbour, a colleague or someone who simply didn't like him for a reason or two. Around 4 million people died out of Stalin's Terror
And, of course, nazis. As of 1941 Warschavchik would have had the whole selection of opportunities - from a simple oven in Auschwiz to being digged in the ground alive - all across the occupied territories. 3 million Jews from Russia/Ukraine only have been expelled by Germans
Taking all that into account, a new born artist/architect, "naturalizado brasileiro, nascido na Russiia" - just what Wikipedia says about Warschavchik - Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich-Warschavchik - is placing his predecessor into those situations of torture and death - looking back and laughing. Warschavchik's potential afterlife - the life that has never happened due to his decision to never go back to Russia - becomes Fyodor's focus. And - he laughs best who laughs last - as they say it in Russia
A performance for the opening night would include an artist (FPAW) performing live with his head sailing the crispy waters of the swimming pool filled with dry leaves and - on a surface - with the static heads of the Warschavchik Duck, sailing to nowhere / never
(Visitors would be invited to look at the performance from the terrace using the binoculars)
The images of Laughterlife - non-existing situations of Warschavchik happily smiling on his way to the gas chamber, or Warschawchik sticking his laughing head out of the brotherhood grave, or happily shining Warschavchik amongst other decapitated bodies of Jews on the streets of Odessa, or Warschavchik, after the months of torture, confessing of acting as a Japanese spy, also being excited and happy - those images would be installed at every corner of bathrooms and kitchen of Casa Modernista (those with tiles on the walls). The images would be shown on flat video screens replacing certain tiles in the wall, and will be randomly located around the building, shining with deadly optimism and sending the irony to where death has covered any other solution
Fyodor P-A-W will also inhabit an empty swimming pool and rain water collectors across the building (that Warschavchik erected in Sao Paulo on his arrival, for his future family) with a new type of a domestic bird, the Warschavchik Duck

And, finally, the kitchen. I'll put a boiling pot on the stove - and there will be a table served - with aluminium spoons and plates, just like in the Soviet prison. Visitors would be welcomed to look into the boiling pot - and to receive a warm welcome from a widely smiling decapitated head of Pavlov-Andreevich-Warschavchik
Laughterlife is all about the ultimate smile - the smile of a scull that leads to the eternity
