The Western perception of a Muslim male is something difficult to articulate, avoiding preconceptions and political templates. Their dress sense arguably exudes danger, a mortal threat. Yet what hides inside might be a somewhat fragile and petite, humiliated and insulted being. Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich explores the vulnerability of the subject underneath the garment. The live performance taking place on the opening night only, will for the very first time not include the artist's own body.
A projection of the original performance will be played for the duration of the exhibition.
